1) Controlled Writing

Look at the pictures. They tell a story but you have to arrange them in order first. Write the correct number.



She missed the bus and did not go to school that day.

Last night, Amanda was watching her favourite programme until late at night.

The next morning, she woke up late. Therefore, she was late for school.

Her mother told her to go to bed early but she did not listen.

Amanda apologized and promised her mother to sleep early every night.

Her mother was very angry with her.
